Will the muffler drop?

there are 3 hangers hanging the rear muffler, will the muffler drop if the resonator section is detached? i just got the full exhaust pipe so i have to take off the whole pipe from head to resonators but not the muffler

The whole axle back section hangs on it's own (hangers and 2 ground bolts on each side of the muffler) once you release the V clamps so you should be fine.
