A few weeks ago I pulled the trigger on a 2011 E90 M3! It has all the options I wanted except for maybe ZCP which isnt a big deal to me. Flew up to PA to buy the car and got it shipped down to Houston. Here are the stats:

CPO
28k miles
Interlagos Blue / silver leather (I really dig this color combo after seeing it in person)
6 M/T
Premium Pack
Cold Weather package
Technology Package
Premium Sound
Sun roof
220m wheels
Power window rear shade (more a wow factor than anything)
$53k (asking price was $55.7k)

My initial mods will be: window tint, clear bra, IND color matched reflectors, IND gloss black front grille, OEM exhaust mod, powder coated or plasti dipped wheels

I love this car! Will be my daily driver to and fro work (30 miles each way). Looking forward to keeping her for a long time.

Will do. I need to call around a few shops around Houston that know how to do this mod without me explaining it to them and have done it a few times before. If you know of a reputable place that does this let me know and I will do the same.

When purchased: November 2013
Year and Model: 2009 E92 Space Gray, black novillo int.
Miles: 60,000
Options: Premium, Tech, Cold, iPod, CF Roof.
Transmission: DCT
paid $34k + $1500 license/registration/DMV fees

I've got about another $3k in car now.
~ ran thru basic checkover/tune up.
~I purchased test pipes, deleted the primary cats, and paid Evolve $1550 for that and their stage 2 tune, and their amenities tune to get DCT tweaks and some cool cabin tweaks (auto folding mirrors, double blink hazards, lots of little stuff)
~spent another $500 on black kidney grills, black side signals, side LED lights, black/grey roundels, etc.
~Probably want to change the plugs for another $300.
Tires have good meat, stock Pilots feel great.

I'm doing my first track/drving instruction day on Thursday (Sonoma Raceway!). i'll post results. My first time on a track on 4 wheels instead of 2, and its been 15 years since last time anyway!

NivlekGT, congrats, and repost after you dip the wheels. I'm wondering whether to powder coat or plasti-dip.
I'm also thinking of spraying the front reflectors, since i have a little body work to do on the front fender courtesy of previous owner

What do you guys think of this one?

http://www.landroverchantilly.com/de...tOrderBy=5%2C0

Listed for 40k. TCL guys thought it looked modded and sterling who serviced the car states there is a misfire since 5k miles.

Reading through this thread makes me feel pretty good about mine. I know it's just an 08 but i think I got a decent deal.

2008 E90
Jerez black with black extended leather
6MT
Every option minus DCT and sun shades
44k miles
One owner
I paid $37k out the door.

I'm pleased at least. I'm fine with the 08 quirks (flywheel, old nav, etc).

Too many miles for the price. The car has 45k miles on it. They said there's been a misfire since 5k? That's 40k miles driven with a misfire. Odds are that it's not very well maintained.

When purchased: August 2013
Year and Model: 2011 E90 Interlagos Blue, black novillo int.
Miles: 29,000
Options: Premium, Convenience, Tech, Cold, iPod, Competition, sunroof.
Transmission: DCT
paid $48k + license/registration/DMV fees; bought from dealer

Car had brand new Conti Contact 3 tires. The dealer cleaned/painted the rims and touched up the bumpers. They also fixed a chip in the windshield before delivery.

After 3 months of ownership and 1,400 miles, the car has been prefect - not one issue. One disappointment though is the gross inaccuracy of the OBC mileage. I have tracked every tank and the computer is constantly 15% over the actually mileage.

I absolutely love the DCT and have not missed a manual tranny at all. I like the security of both hands remaining on the wheel while cruising the twisties and slipping it into D mode in traffic. Plus the wife can easily drive it on the *rare* occasion (made the purchase just a bit easier).

My first track event with this car is early February - can't wait!

What I really want but not sure it exists.
1. Double slot kidney grill like on the F10 m5 LCI with a M3 badge.
2. Turn signals with white LED that stay on when headlights are on and turn orange when turn signal is engaged.
This. I've been searching for the so called "switchbacks" for our headlights for a while. So far, no luck. Though they are a common mod for Japanese cars. If any vendor/mfr is reading, here's a good opportunity to fill a niche market!

My solution, installed aftermarket LED turn signals (orange/amber) but planning on coding the car so that it remains off while "running", hence creating the appearance of a clean headlight while indicators aren't engaged but still have LED amber with them engaged. Sort of a compromise, but win-win nonetheless.

Picking up this weekend:

2010 E92 Alpine White w/ Fox Red interior
25k miles
DCT
Premium package
Technology package
Extended leather
19" wheels/tires
Alarm system
Heated seats
PDC
Enhanced Premium Sound
ipod/USB adapter
Smartphone integration
Satellite Radio

$42.7k, think I got a pretty good deal, made even better with no sales tax on private party sales and brand new tires.

Year and Model: 2011 E90 Alpine White with Black Interior
Miles: 28000
Options: ZCP, Premium, Tech, Nav/iDrive, Premium Sound, Heated front seats, Moonroof
Transmission: DCT

Paid: about $53k

I feel like the price was a little high, but I fell in love and it was a perfect storm of circumstance. An upgrade from my E36 was a long time coming…

Wasn't a deal-breaker, but I kinda wish I could stream music over Bluetooth.
