What is your dream car.......

Having an exotic or would be a dream but where can you really drive it to its potential? Surely I'd end up in jail for how I would drive it in California. My dream car would be the current year BMW racing team M3, the unlimited mods/parts and the crew to gas me up.

At the moment, I am aspiring for the new M6 (6mt hopefully) in IB or Black for a DD. I will keep the M3 as a track warrior.

Quite a bit more power, both hp and torque. Accelerates much harder, from any speed. Stiffer ride. Steering is a bit more numb. Cabin is not as roomy as the M3.

6 speed tranny is nicer on the V12V. Obviously, a much better exhaust note.

Realistic dream car after the E90 M3 is definitely a Porsche Turbo or GT3. Having the E90 for daily and the Turbo or GT3 as a fun car would be awesome though.

This is a pretty interesting topic: When I first read the OP's headline, I thought "Murcielago, or Gallardo, or SLS". An M3 was never my dream car.

But you made me think about my criteria. Has to be fast, handle well, be comfortable inside, and capable of daily driving. Four seats is also a requirement right now, but won't always be. And now that I'm hooked on verts, it will probably have to have a lid that comes off.

So the M3 meets all of those criteria. Beyond the M3, in the price range I would actually be willing to cover, there's the R8, the Vantage, the Gran Turismo, and various Merc's. And the cars above are some serious coin, for what may not be a huge difference in experience, and possibly less capable - although I'm willing to find out

So thanks OP, good topic, and it was enlightening.
