Pretty sure you have just become my favorite forum contributor.

A little clarification Tim, me Boof or Op Buff? And either way you will have made an excellent choice.

I think my favorite was the thread where the "recharging mechanism was not intact when putting the key fob in the receptacle" because it was just such low key trolling.
Yea, I'm almost certain the joke is on us. Kinda like Tony Clifton. Andy Kaufman fans will get the reference.

Man your humor shines through and as I have stated before, I don't know which I enjoy more the learning on this forum or the humor.

I am thinking Buff is for real but either way this always provides a brief but great diversion from the job.

I agree, there's humor and there's also knowledge that we have gained and moments like when you guys got hit in Houston and us with Irma. You guys kept my mind off of being away from home. I always knew I could pick up my phone and you guys were there to keep me updated and entertained. Hopefully I don't piss off too many people along the way. It's never intended but it happens.

As for a filter, I have the Dinan cold air intake and it does seem to help make a nice induction sound when planting the gas pedal.

Have a k&n filter and there's an improvement in sound and throttle response.

Indeed it does. I believe we have federal laws -- for the time being -- against age-based harrassment in a chain restaurant. I will say you've been (disengenuously?) courteous online.

By the way, does your intake explain why your car smells like it's burning race fuel?

I have one as well. I went with a dry filter instead of an oiled one. Very easy to care for.

I have the dry AFe which I sourced from MBargain. I have an 08 so it is not the one listed in the link above. As stated though the install is extremely easy and it seems as though servicing will also.
