Tint looks great! Will NY state troopers give you grief about it? I like the plate, but I guess this means you won't be modding anytime soon?

They are CS 35's (35%?) from 3M. I went for a little extra green in the hopes of longevity. You can still see inside, so, hopefully I'll be left alone. Between the tints and no front plate I may be pushing my luck, however.

Does 'CS' means ceramic tint? So you did 35% all around? That's exactly what I'm going with. I was debating the regular 3M or ceramic. Not even the installer knows what's the difference, other than supposedly ceramic doesn't interfere with radio as much. Some people say it reflects heat better. Does anybody know for a fact? It costs about $50 more. Thx.

Definitely go with the ceramic, especially if it's only $50 more, because it'll give you the heat rejection qualities of a metallic tint without the shiny reflectiveness and interference issues of metallic tint. Metallic tint can interfere with the radio and also your comfort access. The FormulaOne Pinnacle 35, for example, has a similar VLT to the CS-35, but results in a solar heat reduction of 50%. It's more expensive than either dyed or metallic tints, but it gives you the best of both worlds.

Man on previous cars I ran 20% sides and limo on the rears, and when I get pulled over I just roll all the windows down. Never been given crap about tint, but I'm in Texas and I think 35 is the lowest you can go on the sides. Backs are just whatever you want as long as you have side mirrors. I could be wrong.
EDIT*** BTW nice Tint OP. |

35 all around, not including the windshield, obviously. They are guaranteed not to interfere with radio transmissions. Not too worried about the whole heat thing. I'm in New York, not Texas.
