Quick Intake Question

Hey guys,

Just replaced my stock air filter with a Macht Schnell. Would you guys recommend putting the intake cover back on or just keeping it off?

I think I remember reading that people posted the highest gains leaving it off.

Unless you want more dust and dirt (possibly rain/water depending on where you are) in your engine, keep it on. Its there for a reason

put it back on, it keeps the intake temps cooler.

It does alot more than just keep the intake temps cooler.

lower intake temps, aids in ram air effect... what else is there?

The airbox lid should be reinstalled.
