Exhaust Help - Something Subtle when it needs to be, but wild when it doesnt!
Just picked up my 2011 e93 M3 convertible yesterday. What an animal!!
I am coming out of an M6 and want to make it a little throatier perhaps, maybe a little more "wild" sounding. At the same time I dont want drone on the highway and dont want to make it too loud. I also dont want to remove cats etc... So this is probably a fair "mild" exhaust system. The Remus system is a pretty good price. Does anyone have any experience with it? How much am I looking at to have it installed? Thanks!! |

Kreissieg exhaust? It's has control valved for OEM sound or F1 at the touch of a button. I have no idea if they remove cats or not though.

Our Gintani Sport system might be what you are looking for.
No drone, and sounds aggressive. When on it, the exhaust tone will open up and give you the sound you are looking for. |

RPI has a deep sound when you get on it and not too loud at all when cruising, I heard Eisenmann and its pretty loud. So those are the two I looked at for my e90. I am selling my RPI due to moving. Please check classifieds if you have interest. GL drive safe!

Active Autowerke Signature E9X M3 Exhaust
The Active Autowerke Signature E9X M3 Exhaust
Quality and Performance If your looking for a F1 sound but don't want to bother your neighbors I would suggest that you go with the Axle Back Exhaust and stay away from the X-pipe which increases the sound of the exhaust. Contrary to popular belief you can increase performance with just an axle back exhaust. See the Dyno chart below. PM if you have questions. |

You're exactly right about the Remus Sport Exhaust Systems! They're nice and subtle when you're off the throttle, but they come alive when you step on it! Remus Sport Exhaust Systems compliment the E9X M3 quite well!
