Yet another new M3er

Long time Bimmer owner, this is my first ///M though. I picked up a 2009 AW E92 DCT last week after spending an eternity in a Jet Black E46 325Ci. Polar opposite is an understatement I've seen some familiar screen names from the E46 forum floating around. Nice to see you all again and wanted to say hello to everyone I don't know yet!

" after spending an eternity in a Jet Black E46 325Ci" lol Not sure I can develop a lot of sympathy for you having to deal with that difficult situation. At any rate congrats, she looks nice.

I guess I didn't think that wording through very carefully LOL I've owned a lot of cars and the 325 was by far my favorite. I kept it much longer than anything else. What I meant was, I wanted an M way back then, but had to be practical. As nice as any non-M is, it's not an ///M

Thank you! That was on the car already, it looks like Agency Power Ti. Might be a little difficult to tell in the pics, but the tips are blue. I'm not normally a big fan of that, but I happen to think the blue tips look kinda nice with the AW. I'll take some better pics when it stops raining next week

Thanks for the welcome everyone. There are some really, really, really nice cars on this board and I'm glad to finally be here

I also spent an eternity (~10 years) in an Electric Red E46 325Cic. It was a solid car that saw a lot of fun and fair share of spirited driving. But as you have just experienced for yourself, crossing over to the ///M side is a whole 'nother ball game. Congrats on the new ride!!!

Anyone drive 24/7 on drag radials? Do they make DRs in 20"?? Guess I could easily look, making conversation A kid on a bike could be me off light the way this thing spins and I haven't even figured out launch control yet. All my high-HP cars have been turbo AWD. I need an M3x
