Invo vs Vred tire weights?
Anyone have the tire weights for those 2 tires in the following sizes? I can't seem to find them anywhere. I need a new set but don't want to pay PS2 prices nor do I want a heavy beast like the AD08's or RE-11's. I looked at the Conti 3's but they seem to be the same price as PS2. Thanks a million!

PS2's can handle their own on track the Invos heat up and than turn into crap and roll on themselves really bad
I ripped chunks out of them on one day out |

NT05 on the other hand is an amazing tire. I loved it on track for a mixed set. Just don't put them in the rain its a scary feeling.
Invos on the street are compliant but for all the cruisers on the board they are really noisy from the road and it's very apparent |

I find my Invos to be very quiet, unless pushed real hard then they squeal pretty good..and where did they can chunk as they are nearly a slick on the outside. I know some people who have tracked their Invos with a ZO6 Vette and ran almost identical lap times to his PS2s. He had to play around with the tire pressure and he did mention that they squealed pretty good when pushed as well. It was upon his experience that I bought these. For the money they really are a pretty good tire. Like I said if I was a track junkie I would get a set of track wheels and run the NT05s or the Toyo R888s. Dave

I've read many bad reports on the INVO's on many boards. The NT05's get pretty much universal praise.
I'd get the Vreds. They hold up well on the track and seem to be lasting very well compared to the PS2's.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
