Painted my brake calipers, now I am getting ready for the G-Power!!!

Just wanted to share that I painted my brake calipers red in while I have been awaiting for my first M3 mod. I am buying the supercharger from Am1r tomorrow and will be attempting an install sometime this week. These pictures are a tiny bit old as there is curb rash on the rims from the previous owner and I just got all 4 wheels fixed for $250 bucks. I shall update some more pictures with the clean wheels soon.

While I was at it I made some bumper plate hole fixes as the car was owned in a state that required front plates.

This is the supercharger I will be installing this week.

I liked the way they looked on the Frozen Gray car that was recently sold. I hope to stop modding after the beast is installed. It is getting quite expensive so far...

It's a good thing you added some extra stopping power with that red paint just in time for the extra HP under the hood.

I was thinking of doing the same on the brake calipers only, it shows better with black ZCP's and SGM. It does look somewhat out of the ordinary, but has good contrast somewhat

Lol, darn I was hoping the painted calipers would kick me above 600WHP. Hmm..maybe that was what the M decal was for.

I'd rather run plates than bumper plugs. Just drawing more attention that you have holes in your bumper.

I went to O'Reilly's and bought a pack of 4 plastic plugs (2 bucks) and just painted it with my touch up paint kit. You can get the OEM touch up kit on ebay for like 25 bucks shipped.

OP, try and get the alignment alittle lower on the intercooler pipework when you come to install it, it looks like the orginal S/C owner is getting some rub from the hood on those pieces.....

I am going to see if I can do the install like how Evolve did it for Donbona. If I can't fit it under the brace I will try to install it lower like you said. Thanks.

they didnt fit it under the brace they cut two windows to allow the cooler pipes to pass through without having to completely cut the plastic cross member..... if you can do it this way i 100% agree its the way to go........

i think they modify the cooler itself to make it sit lower ;-)

There is a Dupont brake caliper paint kit at all the auto parts stores for about 20 bucks.

From the post by Evolve, they just said they sat it an inch lower and ran another hose to it. I'll have to check and see once I have everything apart. I just picked up the kit earlier today. I have'nt had a chance to look at it yet.
