Yeah "car enthusiast" is highly subjective. We infight a lot since there are so many niche communities under the umbrella. Lot of gatekeeping and snobbery, I am part of the problem.

Over here it's mostly Skoda and Audi wagon drivers that drive like A-holes.

three pages and no one has mentioned left-lane camping prius drivers?!?!??

also, let's be real, overly-modded E90 drivers are the primary reason everyone else hates on bimmers.

EVERYONE is a left lane camper around here. Do so many people actually not know they shouldn't be in the left lane or are they there on purpose being assholes?

Bloomberg reference Tesla and Manhattan in the same sentence. I’m fed up with Tesla’s round here in Manhattan:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/featu...e-acceleration

The article talks about the history of acceleration. EV’s have made acceleration more accessible to a-hats.

It's pretty tame here in SW Ohio; rarely is someone standing out in traffic. There are just very few drivers making exhibitions of themselves.

This is an area where other drivers regularly give up their right of way to you. I'm always flummoxed by that, as I prefer that they be predictable. Heck, people here even leave room during rush hour on the interstates and other major thoroughfares.

It's not like California and the Northeast, where I spent nearly 50 years driving before coming here.

Nissan Tida drivers are up there. The car screams “ this buyer driver doesn’t have an IQ to be around other motorists.

Tend to be the ones hogging the overtaking lanes from journey start to journey end yet will hog it at under the speed limit and are completely unaware of the 200 plus cars that have undertaken them. In heavy traffic they’ll be on your bumper or leave a 20 second gap with the car in front. They drive in such an manner that you expect them to do something stupid.

Yeah, SoCal is bad. People are rude here. Being an older driver I’m calm, cool, and collected.

Priuses have mostly disappeared from the roads I feel. Subarus, notably Outbacks, and mainstream crossovers love to camp in the left in my observation.

Ya similar to the Nissan Altima crowd. Disposable cars with poor resale that get scooped up by the poor credit crowd.

That's the truth.

Strangely enough, outbacks are becoming the new assholes.

My wife used to have a MT Mazda Speed3. She got tired of every teen/twenty something that pulled up to her in a Honda/VW/Subi etc. revving up trying to get her to race whenever she went somewhere. She liked the car, but didn't like the attitude of a lot of people when she drove it.

I didn't really believe it when she told me until I drove with her somewhere one day-- I saw it for myself. It was truly a "WTF, over?" moment.

We sold it and got a hardtop Miata for her. She's MUCH happier with it.

I think that BMW drivers have a bad reputation for not using indicators. Mine are forever self cancelling. If this is a common BMW problem, I can understand why.

Hyundai Stingers (think they drive a performance car)
Altimas (mostly bad credit which explains why they drive awful)
G35's (these cars are 15+ years old and mostly driven by kids)

I would also add most Kia drivers to that list.

If you are driving a performance car I think it's mostly fine to drive like an a** within reason since that is the point of these cars.

What kind of nonsense is this?
BMWs don't have turn signal indicators

You are 100% correct
I always joke that Prius drivers aren't looking at the road ahead
They are looking at the leaf icon on their display fill up in green
Thinking of how good they are for saving the planet
