Nobody would ever hate on BMW interior's if they incorporated some of these fabulous looks into their regular-line cars.

Very possible with the competition heating up and U.S. buyers wanting more and more unique vehicles that some of the individual stuff may make it into BMW's next-gen
of vehicles...... One can always hope..... |

Many people say it's possible to get individual options in the US if you work ur dealer hard enough...some really pushy demanding customers have managed to get them.
BMW NA jus doesn't seem to like the headache and extra effort of ordering them...unless you're buying something so lavish as a seven. |

If you notice, on most of the pics, they show the Piano finish. Everyone knows this finish is stellar. They should open it up to everyone.

I think I remember reading that choosing an Individual exterior color costs $2k and the interior is $4k. Pretty crazy but the difference is noticeable everytime you get in the car. To me that is worth it. I could do with a standard exterior color, but interior I would have to splurge.

Agreed. Ruby Black is shown a lot too, and I love it. Wish we could get it in the States. My dream M3 - Ruby Black/Black/Piano Black

Nope
Because there is no SMG nor DCT in any M3 interior in those pics. If you describe exactly which picture more exactly someone will promptly tell you what it is but it ain't SMG nor DSG in a 3er

Yup, notice the three dials in the center of the dash? And how the dash comes all the way to the center console. Typical 5-series.

I am really impressed with the Individual Options and I think if you really wanted it, and payed a premium, you could probably negotiate getting it here in th US. |
