Week 17 is the week beginning on May 16th. I'd say your earliest possible delivery would be mid June.
Production takes approximately 5-7 days. It generally takes at least 7-10 days for the car to get to the port and onto a ship. Once on the ship the crossing of the Atlantic takes 11-12 days depending on the number of stops. So you are looking at at a minimum 21 days and up to 29 days after production starts till delivery. One big benefit for you is that being in Halifax your car gets dropped off at the Autoport in Eastern Passage. It should make it to the dealer within 1-2 days after the ship docks. The car will be here before you know it!!! |

You may make the end of May if you are lucky! I'd say first week of June you are guaranteed to get her! |

BMW supply chain visibility obviously needs some work. As previously noted by several members, I also have a vehicle that has been in country since 4/7. Last update was that it wa en route on 4/21 but it's still not made it to the dealer. I worked for a logistics company, and this could be handled much, much better from a customer-view.

That's k mate. Let's hope for the best. I really suggest that BMW Canada must have online tracking. I am getting tired of bugging my dealership and the #800. . At least I ve got the VIN # ...YAY

Mine just left on the Falstaff on the 25th. Scheduled arrival at port Hueneme is May 19th. Anyone else on that ship? I already figured out all the tracking info on it.

Awesome...... Maybe mine is shipped as well. We now have a race to see who gets their M3 with Individual Amarone first. May the best man win

Don't mean to brag, but it will probably be me. I am guessing your area gets West coast deliveries, in which case port Hueneme will be a way earlier stop.

All Canadian BMW's get delivered to Halifax, NS which is the first stop in North America for all of WW's east coast voyages. From Halifax the cars are shipped by rail to their respective destinations in Canada. Edmonton is 7 days from Halifax by rail. I am pretty sure my is getting loaded on the Elektra which departs Bremerhaver on April 29th and is due in Halifax on May 10th. By my estimate this will put my car at the dealer around the 20th-25th of May (Allowing a few extra days for processing of course) Don't get too confident yet I think we may actually have a race on our hands..... First one to post pictures wins, OK? |
