According to BBS Japan's data, the RI-D 19x9 rim is 7.2kg so abt 15.9lbs, versus the M3 type 359 competition package 19x9 rim is 25.4lbs, so per rim 9.5lbs lighter!

I must be in the minority. I don't think they look very good on the M.

actually according to BBS Japan, the new RI-D weight about 7.2kg = 15.88lbs 19x9... the older BBS FI wheels are about 18.6lbs/19.8lbs for 19x9.5/19x10.5 respectively

so that's almost 3lbs per wheel. pretty damned significant if you ask me.

well they look really light. Not much material in the spokes and not much where it attaches to the hub surprisingly.

Not crazy about the design, but can't argue with 10lb weight saving per wheel. At least a black wheel will hide the design.
