M4 looks better for sure and if it wasn't for the stupid nav screen its int would of looked better as well.
I just hope it is fast.

E92. The square hood and hideous line above the Roundel, coupled with the ugly head lights, destroy the F80/82. Period.
I would have much preferred that the new design language made me weak at the knees. But to each their own. |

The new car has some odd lines and questionable design elements. It looks overwrought to me, like they were trying too hard to be cutting edge (I guess all the best designers were working on the i8?). It will probably grow on me by the time LCI/ZCP rolls along. The sedan is the better-looking car of the two, opposite of this generation.
After two years, I still smile every time I open my garage and always sneak several glances over my shoulder when walking away from a parking spot, so it's safe to say I like the E92 better. |

I love the e92 m3 shape obviously.. Much more than the pictures of the m4 (opinion subject to change once seen in person) but I like the f80 much more than the f82 so I dunnoo I will have to again see it in person.. So far I like the masculine elegance of the e92 m3

I really like the M4, but my e92 is still gorgeous. Just like when a new hot babe celebrity hits the scene. She is new, fresh and sexy, but that doesn't mean the established supermodel still doesn't look good.
BMWs, in general, age well compared to a lot of cars in terms of design. I still like the e60 M5, and even the e39 M5, while a bit dated now, still looks good. I nicely kept e46 M3 still looks great, although I think the e36 definitely looks dated at this point.

I actually wish they would have made the M4 even MORE of a design change than they did.

I'd like an F80/F82 style front bumper on my e90, but that's about it. also, I'm glad the hood line isn't as awful as on the regular F30/F32
hear that, aftermarket companies!?

The hood line drives me nuts. Will take a few years for it to fully grow on me, but it will.

I need to see in person but I'm really not too impressed with updated interior. Computer update is nice with animation and additional features but I just love the e90 interior. I know I may be in the minority on this one.

I am not enamored at all with the new 3er/4er, which is why I bought a 2013 M3. The new M3/M4 hasn't done much to change that opinion. I think the F80 looks much better than the F82, but not enough for me to want one……yet.

M4 looks great but I love the front end of the E92 M3 way better for some reason. I think the hood has a lot to do with it.

As I'm rather happy w/the V8, I can't *wait* for the used parts dumping that will increase in tempo over the next few months as current E9X M owners prepare to move over to the latest and greatest

I think the E46 right now does look little dated. the stock lights are what does it. the shape of the car is still good looking though. replace the lights with something more modern looking would be ideal with the E46. the E92 is also not going to get "old" overnight. its going to take some time. i probs wont see a M4 on the streets next year unless at a car meet. but that depends on where you live. cally is going to get the most M3s |

+1, and this is EXACTLY the problem with it for me. The F10 5-series headlights look good. What the hell happened with these?! My tune may change when I see my first "live" F8x M3/M4, but for me, right now, I will be holding on to and cherishing my beautiful e92 M3 for as long as I possibly can.

This for me looks at least as good as the new M4, maybe even better!
As for the sedan, I prefer the new model no doupt, I think I even like it more then the M4, but I'll reserve my final judgment for when I'll see them in person! One thing is sure, they did a good job with the interior and the seats, it just suck that they did'nt kept the front seats extension! Last edited by Alex07M3; 12-20-2013 at 10:53 AM.. |

I want so bad to love the looks of the M4.
But when I look at the front of the one in the picture above...well it just doesn't FLOW. there,s the grill, the headlights, the hoodline, the air dams, the vents and they just seem to be all cramped in together. Too busy and not very classy at all. There, I said it! |
