Went on bmwvin and !!!!

I was just on bmw vin and im a little confused about what it says. It says my m is an 06-02-2008 production with the s65 displacement 4.00, and then heres the tricky part, power 309?!?!? Why does it say that? Theres no way that can be correct i mean the e46 had more crank hp than that, and theres no way a website can tell you wheel hp. Can somebody plz chime in and help me relax.

you better check under the hood, you either don't have a M3 stamp logo or you got a N55 instead.

Additionally, you may also have to considered the non-ZCP "Civic" dial-back in HP. At times the moon on your roof also weighs in heavily on the HP figures.

How does that make any sence at all?? The bmw vin says its the s65 engine displacement 4.00 im not a tard i know wat an m3 looks like i know wat a v8 sounds like thats not helpful at all.

You probably don't have a real M3s, otherwise it would have a M3 stamp under the hood.

The June '08 cars had an error in production that resulted in 309hp instead of 414hp. Depending on how you look at it, you are either very lucky, or very unfortunate to own one of these rather unique M cars.

They had a recall for cars made on 06-02-2008. Call your dealer ASAP.

Don't confuse KW with HP ...

BTW in Germany the boys call it 420 PS (stands for HP - translation in German is Pferdestärke true translation Horse Strength).
