I'm sorry but it's not a car that I would pull up next to at a light and think to myself, "Man, I wish I had that car!". I don't care how much faster it is, it just doesn't have the same drool factor that my M3 does for me. In fact, there aren't a lot of cars that can do that for me except for maybe a Porsche or Ferrari. Lambos and Bugattis are just over the top for my tastes.

I'm not too fond of the dash of either of those two cars. But the nice recaros and the performance of the GT 500 give it the edge IMHO. Just personal preference.

Thanks for all the feedback. My wife fell in love with the car when we saw it. I really wanted a manual but my wife had other plans. Looks like I will be keeping the m3 and the ZL1 will be hers... we found a black on black with black wheels and the carbon fiber hood vent.

Can't complain!

Gratz!

I convinced a buddy of mine to pick up a ZL1. Can't wait to try it out when he gets it!

Interior is still subpar compared to Ford's other cars now but it's a monster performer and I do like the exterior.

Anyone here driven the 13' GT500 with 640hp?
No, but I've driven my brother-in-law's 2005 GT500 with 850+ HP. It was quite enjoyable. Still wouldn't trade it for my M, though.
