DIY: E93 Valentine 1 Hardwire

So i have finally decided to order the hard wire kit from valentine1.com. I havn't seen a E93 V1 installation DIY, so i thought i would help fellow Vert owners by posting this thread. Initially i was going to pay to have it done (not usually into messing w/ wires on a 80k car) until i came across a review i found through Google. I won't attempt to plagiarize this review so click the link below for further instruction. The installation took me about 20mn and was a complete breeze. I would recommend using extra zip ties to cleanly hide the wires around the dome light like i did. Before reading this review i thought i was going to have to run the phone cable all the way to the glove box, but no you use the dome light right next to where you position the v1. good luck

nice thanks! I'm planning to do this in a couple days and hopefully take it a step further by installing the remote display in the ashtray area.

they will then send you an e-mail asking for your serial # on the unit ... then send out the kit

im a dumbass i looked in the box it came in with and i had it already

guess i dont have to order it lol
