OEM Rear spoiler removal.

Hi Guys,

So I forgot to delete the spoiler and my car came with one. I asked the parts department about it, and they told me its a stick-on tape that holds it down.

Has anyone removed one? I can't stand the look of it, and want to do it myself. Any suggestions, any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Andy

I asked for mine to be without one but they installed one anyway too.

When you get it off snap some pictures please! I may remove mine too

I suggest staying away from fishing line-if used wrong it can actually scratch the paint (found out the hard way when taking the CF Mtech spoiler off my 335). Dental floss could work as long as it doesn't break (never tried it). Another alternative (which worked for me) is using a thin micro-fiber rag, working the edge between the spoiler & body panel and using a back/forth motion (similar to how you would use the fishing line).
