Watkins Glen Track Days

A few of us from the Toronto area will be going to Watkins Glen for 4 track days this year.Myself and a few others from here will be instructing for these days.

The dates are

May 30 th & 31st

August 1st & 2nd

This is being organized by Phoenix CMR Inc who are really good guys who I helped last year at the SVT days at Mosport last year.

cool! thinking about it. was shooting for may 5-6 with bmwcca, so not sure how this fits into the rest of the schedule for the season. maybe both.

There will be a fair number of us coming down from Toronto & from this board for both dates.It would be nice to finally get to meet up with some people here at Watkins Glen.

I absolutely love The Glen. I'll be up there 4 days in May, but that's at the beginning of the month. I might sign up for those two days. As for August, that's probably not going to happen. If I make it, I'll look you up. Or if you see a carbon black E46 M3 w/ an orange roll cage and interior, come say hello.

There should be a bunch of us there for both dates and it would be great to meet a bunch of you guys there.I have not been to the Glen ontrack in almost 18 years when I codrove in an American Firehawk race there in a Camaro.We are much more active in the Canadian section about these days.

You absolutely should! GVC BMW CCA is very professional. They really give you the best value when it comes to instruction (there are cheaper 'lapping day' outfits). The fact that it is Mother's Day weekend makes it tough for some. I won't be there because I have a charity event on Saturday that I can't miss

I've ran with GVC before. Like you said, they'e a great group. Any CCA group is great. Forgot that it's mother's day. hmmm....decisions.

Gearhead--I just got back from a two-day event there with NASA/PDA. Had a fantastic time. What a track! There was a group of Corvette guys there from Ontario--Powell Motorsports. They had a couple of Z06s and an older C4 Vette. They were celebrating your elections yesterday.
