Thanks, I stand corrected. It is definitely factory trim and is Jerez Black. But, it is the Sycamore Anthracite trim, code 04MZ. Also has: Premium, Technology and Cold Weather packages, as well as fold down rear seats. It is an early 2011 car, VIN BE202522. Car sold new at Mountainview BMW in CA.

In some cases package codes are not used on the build sheets. For example, Premium Package code, ZP2, is not used on the build sheets. So I have to go by the options that are included in the package. For example, 2011 Premium package consists of:
Auto-dimming mirrors + power folding mirrors - S313A
Digital compass - S4NAA
Universal transceiver - S319A
BMW Assist + Bluetooth - S629A

I assume you mean Convenience Package as I don't think there was a Technology package for the 2011 M3.

Convenience Package includes:

PDC - S507A
Comfort Access - S322A
Navigation/iDrive - S609A
iPod/USB Adapter - S6FLA
Alarm - S302A.

So, 2011 M3 Coupe in Jerez Black on Black Novillo leather + DCT + Competition Package + Enhanced Premium Sound + all the options from the Convenience and Premium package = 121 cars

Interesting. Thanks again. I don't have the original window sticker, but the mybmw portal, where I "registered" the VIN to get the build date and such, lists "Technology Package". However, you nailed the options that are on there, and I know how web services work - approximations are ok - versus how manufacturing systems work - no ambiguity thanks.

Sorry for the confusion guys, I think I finally figured it out. You were right, there was a Technology Package. It was discontinued on 08/2010 and since I was looking at newer data it wasn't there.

Yes, three of those car are clones of each other. They are absolutely identical and were built within a month of each other. 4th car was built much later and has some other extra stuff.

Keep in mind, these stats are for the US/Canadian cars only

Mine must be one of those first three as it is early production (4/2010) for the 2011 model year.

Great if all this data were published, including the world wide production numbers. Any lead on that data?

I know E93's are not yet complete but I have a Sparkling Graphite Metallic E93 which is a color that hasn't been available for a few years. Any idea how many of those made it to North America? My car is fully loaded with DCT. Thanks!

What's your color/upholstery? I can tell you how many of them had ZCP
