difficult to compare payments without details. there's a wide range of options on this car. even on the same lease terms, a car with $10k more in options will cost $300 more a month. and obviously payments will be different based on credit scores, down payments, deposits, and the negotiated price of the car.

Very true. But the 4 months BMWFS ran those cheap leases really created a swing in what people are paying. Historically M car leases have been brutal IMO with high rates and low money factors, and that was true for the early adopters last year and is true for the folks leasing now. I don't think anyone who has a $1K+/mo M3 lease necessarily got "screwed" as much as the people who leased in Dec, Jan, and Feb got unusually good lease terms and values on these cars.
