So is there no way that the knob will come off? Interested in the SSK but not the knob.

Maybe there is but I'm not going to attempt it. I know it's on there pretty damn tight. It's actually a really great setup with the knob. I know it's not for everyone but it fell great in my hand the throws were crisp too. Like I mentioned in my OP I'm only selling because I upgraded to a CAE shifter, which again is not for everyone.

Nope. Everything included will enable you to install and use. Just need some grease for the ball.

I should clarify, the extender is what is stuck on, the knob will unscrew off. My apologies for not clarifying.
