Last time I checked the invoice isn't on the window sticker, but please post them up to prove it.

Actually, most, but not all, states allow this. This tax benefit and the hassle of privately selling a used car mean that I almost always trade-in.

It all depends on how much your car is being traded in for versus selling it privately. I was getting offers of around $24k for my 04 M3 which would mean around $1500 savings in sales tax for me. I sold it in less than a week for more than that plus the savings. The other thing you get to do is deduct the sales tax on the car from your tax return. This purchase will make quite a difference on my tax return.

Just picked mine up in the Valley $500 over invoice... No haggling, took 5 min and they are still bending over backwards for me... Love when it is this easy. No need to travel out of SoCal for a good deal.

Picked up my e90 DCT 3 weeks ago for $500 over invoice. I didn't have a lot to choice from on the east coast but it still only took 2 emails to agree on a price. I probably left a few bucks on the table.

Mine was $500 over invoice off the lot for an 08 E90. No need to negotiate thats what I was hit with and that was fine with me. Id much rather pay a little more right now and get exactly what I want versus having to start compromising on what I want in a month or 2 when on hand stock gets low.
Honestly, I got and will expect great service as I wont feel like I nickel and dimed the deal to death either and that is value to me. They did throw in the typical freebies like M Mats too so every thing is great. My bank account is not going to be busted for paying $500 over invoice now vs $1K under in a month or 2 so why not get it and enjoy it. T. |
