Good M3 driver...
Fast M3 driver <---Click!
I heard of some race cars with sequential tranny's that sound like that, but not as loud as this M3. Good driver nontheless. |

To me it looks like his car is more powerful than the others? He passes everyone like they are standing still? Really cool video though live the sound and the shifting!!

Part of the dash looks like a E36 M3 dash...perhaps E36 M3 MTR?

I'm not even sure I understand what I saw there.
That guy's car seemed to totally outclass everything else out there. By a ton. Was there no restriction on what types of cars were allowed to compete? |

Super old video! That's a BMW Motorsport 320i STW, powered by a S42 (n/a 4cyl making close to 300hp) and a 7-speed gearbox. That race he started in the back of the pack, most likely due to qualifying issues, that explains how fast he was moving through the pack. If memory serves me right it's a GT1 car, towards the end he starts catching up with other cars in his class .
There are versions of this vid with the car info at the beginning floating around the net. |
