Service engine soon light
I have a 08 6mt with 11000 miles, I have no aftermarket parts she is all stock.
I cranked her up last night only to here what ( sounded like a small backfires or miss firing) lasted for a few seconds and then cleared up. When it cleared up the SES light came on, she ran fine but the light stayed on. Any suggestions? |

+1. Unless you have a code reader, that's the only way to know what is triggering the CEL (SES) light.

Mines at the dealer, had something similiar happen and ignored it. Then came back to the car after grocery and the car wouldn't start. Got EBC, EDC, check engine light come on and my windshield wipers decided to turn on by themselves and I couldnt get them to stop. Its only got 2100 miles on it. Its most likely a computer problem, so I would have yours checked right away.
