I can trust them. I have brought many cars from the same dealer. Less then a month ago I was status 112 and I am still that status. I never order a car I just usually find something in there inventory. The last time I ordered car from them was back in 1998 and that car took 9 months to come in and I said I would never order another car and low an behold I did and I been waiting since Feb.

wow - my wifes 535ixT took only 6 weeks from order to delivery - but there was no wait on that car like the m3. hang in - this car will be worth it.

when you call the 800 number do they have your name with the prod number?

The last time i called the lady on the phone new my name after I gave her my production number. The few times before that they ask me my name before I gave them my production number. On my paper work I received from the dealer it has my production number and sold to with my name on it.

I know - I think the guy I called today new me by name - I've been calling twice a day!!!!!

Yeah, the date in the VIR is listed as year/month/week. So 2008/05/19 is week 19.

i'm week 19 too...told me it will be complete may 9 and i was told it would be here by the very end of may..dealer seemed pretty confident on this. here's to

Yeah that would be a 4 week turn around which is pretty fast but to be on the safe side I would say 5-6 weeks

I would say 30-35 days after completion. My car was completed on April 1, and I'm hoping to get either Mon or Tue of next week. It's in route to the dealership now (DFW).

Called 1-800 today, automated line says I am in production, estimated date of completion May 5. Can't get a VIN from the automated number, OC is down. Tomorrow I should have it.

just checked on the dates on my wifes 2008 535ixT production in late 2007. It took about 6 weeks from the status #112 until our pick up from the dealer.
here's the approx. dates

9-15-07 status #111
9-21-07 status #112
10-12-07 loaded on the ship
10-26-07 ship passes thru the Panama Canal (make sure to watch on the web-cam!!)
11-5-07 arrives at Port Hueneme
11-10-07 picked up from the dealer
