A noob question regarding exhausts....

Hello folks,
I was just wondering if you guys have exhausts that can't pass the smog test.
What do you guys do about it to pass the test? Since registration is every 2 years, do you guys take it out and replace it with the stock one every 2 yrs? Or, there's "underground" places where they let you pass it if you guys pay more?
I came from a state where they didn't have smog test, so I would like to know how people in cali get away with it.

If you have a '12 I dont think your first smog is until 4 years after purchase date. So you got 4 years...

But I'd be interested to hear what S/C and catless guys are doing. I would assume some go back and some have ways around it...

Smog is 6 years from purchase.

Axle back exhausts aren't of worry, it's only when you modify the mid section.

Owners of vehicles six or less model years old will pay an annual smog abatement fee for the first six registration years instead of being required to provide a biennial smog certification. Start getting to know your local smog tech. Start by giving him a bottle of scotch
