M3 w/competition pkg

If what i've researched is correct; the competition pkg lowers the e92 from 4.9" to 4.5". This is only the matter of them changing the springs right? because I want to use RD sport springs lowering the ride height to 4" not 3.5". That would be too low for me.

I believe even the struts are different, not just springs.

Comp pack (ZCP) suspension is completely different to the optional EDC suspension. The damper "sport" mode of the ZCP EDC function is variable compared to the fixed setting of the "sport" mode of the optional non-ZCP EDC. Springs and EDC control unit is also different. Also, it is important to note that M3 springs vary even amongst the same model i.e. the springs of an M3 Coupe might be different to that of another M3 coupe, this is due to the varying weight of the cars due to different options fitted.

Is probably a good thread to read if you haven't. LarThal's response sums it up.

I Have the COMP Pkg and am lowered on H&R's - They're not RD SPorts but maybe this will give you a better idea. Here's my recent post:
