I am confused by your question. If you are asking why the BBK, it is for the looks. I don't currently track my car so I did not buy them for the performance aspect... They look so much better than the OEM calipers. Is that a problem?

Ah, really just personal taste. I wanted some color but not something as bold as yellow or red. That was just my preference. The silver was another option for me but that kind of just blended in with the wheels, defeating the purpose of but of getting the BBK...

Nice job on the brakes. I will disagree with the comment on silver. You see mine just fine when the wheels are moving . Did you buy them used and had them painted?

During spirited driving the BBK is great but I installed mine mostly for the aesthetic value as well. HREs and BBK "go together like peas and carrots".

Don't disagree, as I said I wanted some color but nothing as bright as yellow or red. The silver Brembo's was a strong option I debated over. As with the color you pick for your car, it is a matter of personal taste. Nothing wrong with silver or any other color, just my personal preference...

First, caliper color looks great

I recently had the same problem when I purchased my Performance Friction calipers and, in the end, I too went with a custom, definitely not common, color

Looking good Ken!!

Nice touch

I would still consider using the spacers. ZCP's look great pushed out in each corner.

Thanks Terry! I may do that but more likely will be some new wheels when these tires are done..

I assume some form of high temp paint. The guys at IND did the paint for me, assuring me they use the same products and process as Brembo in doing the paint.

I think they look great. If I was going to do a painted BBK, blue would be my first choice. Visible but not too "look at me."

I'm a big fan of what you've done with the car. SG E90 is probably my favorite M3 chassis/color combo.

Dude lives in NOLA. Arguably worst streets in America. If anything, it needs to be raised. (No offense, OP.)

I have! I was living in San Antonio at the time. I thought the roads were bad in San Antonio, then I visited NOLA and was blown away. Also, I've never seen more people "buried" above ground before in my life. Scariest looking cemeteries anywhere.

But hard to find a better place to party or with better food. Need to get back there soon.

Try the cemeteries at night, good fun!

And yes, the temptations (food and drink) are never ending. Have to work hard to not pack on the pounds... Mardi Gras just passed, JazzFest starts in a couple of weeks and that is a solid two weeks of eating and drinking. I'll need to detox after Jazzest!
