I guess I got too old for the club scene. After 10 years of the same crap, I just can't get interested in it.

I recommend becoming a member of a few museums or the like. They do a lot of social programming that no one thinks about. The Dallas Museum of Art has a great Thursday night event, with a lot of young, socially mobile people. The Nasher does a ton of stuff as well.

At any rate, it's a reason to leave the apartment without going to the same haunts over & over again.

my usual sataurday events are:
do whatever i want during the day and at night just decide where to drink, either someones house/karaoke. sometimes before and after we go to bowling/movie/bbq
