Brakes (again)

For those who might be interested, there is a write up in this months (May) Roundel on Stop Tech's brake system.

I didn't realize all their calipers were forged. I thought it was only their Trophy system.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Man, I was thinking things were working ok with the stock system and racing pads & fluid. Noticed today when changing my pads back to stock that the piston boots are pretty much toast and there are fingernail width cracks on the rotors.

Comment: Prose is good. Floating calipers FTW. Nice images!
Thanks for the article!

BTW ST's calipers are fixed; the OE system is floating.
