If anybody is interested, please read. Maybe some people from North Carolina can meet us on the way?--------------

Will you post this in the Southeast section of your board...hope to see ya...it's gonna be a fun day.
We're hopeing to have various BMWs, a porsche, & some Lotus along.

Me and a long time buddy who's got a badd a$$ Black on Black MINI are throwing this gig...He's been driving these particular roads forever.

If we had some amazing M3s out on the Dragon I have no doubt Kill Boy would put em on his blog. He's a photog friend who's been snappin pix on the Dragon for years. You can buy em online as well.

Saturday March 27
Time:8:00am - 8:00pm
Location:North Georgia Mountains & Beyond

Description

We will meet at Starbucks, exit 13 off GA 400, 8:00 AM and depart by 9:00 AM.

From there we'll caravan through North Georgia and into N Carolina. Our focus destination for the day is Deals Gap, AKA the Dragons Tail. For the unfamiler The Dragon has 318 curves in 11 miles. An experience at any speed.
We will stay there till 3:00 or 4:00 PM then caravan back to Atlanta. Various stops for food and fuel are planned during the day.
All are welcome to attend...so bring a car full of friends. You don't need a car to enjoy the scenery. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

What route were you planning on taking?

Up GA400 north to hwy.129 all the way to the Gap. I have another way that is is a lot quicker, but people will have to come to Canton, GA. Up hwy.575 to old hwy. 5 to Murphy, NC. and then to Robinsville, NC. and you are on hwy. 129. About 3hrs. maybe.

Better off either going on a weekday or a non-long weekend. Or, just enjoying the drive up/back and resigning one's self to a very slow drive.

You are right. I thought about it and I'm not going. But we'll need to see if we can get everybody together, when the weather gets better and have everybody head up there for the day.
