MPE + Xpipe

Just had a mastermind xpipe with resonators installed, paired with my existing MPE. I thought the noise would be much much louder. Long before I had a B5 S4 with piggie pipes and a UUC exhaust, it was pretty damn loud.

Does the M3 computer need time to adjust so that the noise will get louder? Also, at the time, the car wasn't at a complete cold start but when I revd the car, it wouldn't let me go over 4k, I had to rev it a few times to get it over 4k, kinda like there was a lag. I thought for a sec that the car was in limp mode but after a few revs it was back to normal.

Any thoughts? thanks

The rev cap is ECU based. It needed time to figure out why it couldn't get a reading from the O2 and how to deal with the change in back-pressure. This happened to my car immediately after my Evolve X-Pipe install. This should stop after a few key cycles.

Sound will change slightly as the ECU gets comfortable but I wouldn't expect anything drastic. Suggest ditching the MPE if you're looking for the BOOM.
