Question: Buy ZCP wheels from dealership?

Yes, I'm a noob.

First: I know it's much cheaper to scour for used ones, but there seems to be more than average risk to buying them from someone on here. Is this fear unwarranted?

Second: Is there another reputable source to buy genuine ZCP wheels (new) that will charge less than dealership? Dealership quoted me about $2,600.

Third: I know I should know this, but I don't - Do I need to buy new TPMS when I buy wheels or can I keep what I already have on my factory 18s?

No, buy from www.getbmwparts.com You can get the standard or GTS (satin black finish) at a great price. I got mine for ~$2250 shipped. Came in exactly 1 week.

You can use the same TPMS from your old wheels. That's what I did, but you will hafta swap them if you want to throw the old wheels on for track or winter unless you can deal with errors.

You can try haggling with the dealership also. Once I wanted to see if my dealership had the performance spoiler in stock and what their price was. It was way higher than www.getbmwparts.com so I told him that. When he asked me how much I saw it for, I lied and low-balled because I didn't want it anymore so I threw out a price he couldn't possibly match. Well, he did match it, and I still turned it down, and I looked like an ass lol!

I tried getting the dealership to come down off their $2,600. The most they would come off is $100! Guess I'm ordering online, but I'm surprised they wouldn't budge.
