I'd guess at least 20-40 lb heavier for these items. Just a real rough guess.

Either way, it is going to be one fine ride.
Funny how you make a rough guess.

But he has to be exact.

Just relax and wait until the car is done.

This doesn't sound like a very good combo if improving handling is your goal.

Fair point, Iīve heard this before, but many, many things were changed on the car including adjustable sway bars, springs, rotating mass, weight distribution, center of gravity, body rigidity, etc.... that were all taken into account. I am not the expert on this but is what was recommended. 911 tt has the exact same sizes, granted, its a different car but for sure so is the RS46 M3!! Very different from a normal M3. Oh yes, and tire dynamics are also different. I guess what Iīm trying to say is than the engineering calculations done by experts to suggest this is what I am going with and not what I think. Oh, and herīs a rear wheel pic that I think might be nice to see. lol:

Uffff!!!! That may very well be the case but one of the reasons I went with a modified M3 is because it doesnīt call as much attention as a Porsche GT3 or tt or R8 or what have you, all of which would have cost me the same but attract much more attention.

BMW-M-Mexico, I perfectly understand you want to stick with RDSport parts, but you could easily save a lotta more weight by using

- dymag wheels

- ericsson + seibon + vorsteiner = FULL CARBON FIBER BODY PANELS ( front + rear bumpers, side skirts, doors, roof, bootlid, hood & front fenders.) Only the rear quarter panels are still in metal since they are a part of the bodyshell.

- Movi't Ceramic brake discs.

- other seats than the BMWP ones.

Just my ideas. What do you think ??

Agreed this is all possible and are good ideas for sure, but Dymag wheels are NOT lighter than these, CCB we considered but donīt trust Moviīt and Brembo etc... does not make these for the M3... making all sorts of adaptations to fit say Porsche CCB we thought was way too risky. I went with the BMW seats knowing that they are heavier because they have side impact air bags and am unwilling to eliminate these. Bootlid, roof are already full CF and rear apron is also mostly CF and a tad lighter. I agree on some of the other CF components but I honestly donīt like some of those parts at least from what I have seen. I will consider identical to OE CF doors, side skirts an the like
.

Why don't you trust movit' ? I mailed them and they told me they have CCB for E92 M3.

(I admit when I saw the price i laughed very much)

Are you sure Your RD wheels are the same weight as dymag ??

Well, because I never seen ANY automobile or ANY review of an actual car using their brakes. This goes without saying with Brembo. I find it hard to believe Movit came up with such a great system and can sell it at such an attractive price. Whereīs their R&D? Their web site is crap and the pictures of the brakes look very crud. I sure hope I am wrong, but this is my impression from my own research.
