Unless you guys are all fine with sushi, 2 meets in a row. Personally, I'm game.
FOR SURE! Whens the opening date? We can do the June meet there.

IIRC, I think he said that he was shooting for May 23 (don't quote me on that), but by June, it should definitely be open.

yeah, my friend Jimmy owns Pho Saigon in Hueneme... i drove that guy to prom in his cousin's wide body civic.

Pho Oxnard is pretty good... i actually like their Milk Tea better than Jimmy's but don't tell him that.. hahaha. as for Pho, i think Pho Oxnard gives more meat and noodles.

I really like Pho Saigon because the quality of their meat is better than any of the other places that I've been to. Most places serve meat that has tons of fat, but the meat at Pho Saigon is very lean.

Jamie, this is pho:

It's a Vietnamese soup made with vermicelli noodles, onions, bean sprouts, other various vegetables, and an assortment of different meat (usually either some sort of beef combination or seafood combination).

I love to load my pho with jalepenos and then squeeze some lime in there. Once the broth soaks up those flavors, it becomes soooooooo good!!!

no, spicy-ness is totally up to you. It's normally a beef broth with some type of meat (your choice of lean, raw, well done, etc.)...

Milk Tea is a flavor of tea... Boba is additional "tapioca." they also have thai tea with boba and Vietnamese iced coffee with boba

No. If you don't add any jalapenos or spicy sauce, there is no spice. It's too bland for me like that, but I understand that a lot of people don't handle spicy food too well.

And like Jason said, milk tea is just, well, milk tea lol. Boba are the little tapioca balls that you can add to milk tea/coffee.

I invited my dad out tonight. He's never had pho, let alone any sort of Vietnamese food...

We should all get together for some pho lunch this week!
