Anyone know how to replace the under the engine splash guard?

Basically the front felt thing under the bumper than it easily ripped off. Mine is in bad shape and want to replace it just not sure how to. Or if anyone can point me a DIY. Appreciate the help everyone.

Crap...mine too after that nasty winter. How do we change this piece and what is the part number for the left and right side?

Its easy to replace this part.... and time consuming. If you look at the DIY for bumper removal most of the steps are covered there.

The easiest way is to remove the front wheel well liners before starting. That way you have access to the top of the splash shield. You have to remove the wheels to get the front wheel well liners off. After you remove the wheel well liners you need to remove all the little 8mm headed self tappings crews along the front of the bumper and the three rear bolts.

If your just remove the two side pieces, you only need to remove the screws holding those pieces on. Pretty self explanatory once you get under the car.

My middle part is broken but the 2 sides are still in tact. How difficult to replace? Do I still need to take wheel liners off?

My corners were in rough share and rather than replacing, I actually bought similar color felt, cut the size to fit the damaged sections, got 3M spray glue, and applied right over. Looks pretty damn good and you can't tell. Lot easier than replacing the whole piece.

Mind sharing a few pics and what type of felt you bought? My corners are in need of work too..

I'll snap and post later. I bought grey felt at Michaels.

The middle section can be dropped with removing the corners. I've dropped mine to clean out some debris that was in there. Couple of screws and you're done......Phil
