OEM TPMS?
Hey guys, couldn't find anything specific to BBS LM and TPS, so thought I'd throw this out here...
Anyway, I just got a set of BBS LMs, and unsuccessfully tried to install the factory TPMS. According to the techs, the stems aren't long enough to clear the BBS lip. I wish I had pictures, but the sensors are back in the OEM wheel... That said, has anyone been able to get their OEM TPMS to fit in a set of BBS LMs? TIA, Rich PS - These are from an E92 M3 factory set of 18"...with 'straight' style TPMS. |

I think you need longer stems...contact the folks at tire rack as I remember them offering different stems to install TPS with the LM's they sell at their website. They even mount and balance with TPMS and ship on their wheels if I recall.
Good luck

Can we run without TPM sensors in the wheels? Will it throw a warning light? |
