Jerez with Red Accents - Mockup Feeler

I have seen some really great examples of cleanly modded cars with some paint work which is what gave me the idea.

I am considering adding red accents to my Jerez Black M3 coupe.
Below you will see my extremely high level photoshop skills at work, outlining my idea. I would like to hear from you what you think about the total look.

It starts as just a regular Jerez M3, Fox Red interior, Hyper Black wheels, Black gills and grills, with a carbon lip spoiler.

-Red BBK
-Pinstripe accents (Front Bumper, Gills, Mirrors, Rear Bumper, and Spoiler)
-Black with red accent on Engine Cover as well (unseen here)

Think CRT theme striping. Not big areas of red, but clean stripes that end at a sharp point. Do you think this will look good? classy? aggressive? Your opinions are welcome.

Reminds me of this:

I wouldn't do it. It's pretty tacky and I'm sure you would get tired of the pin stripes. Maybeeeee do the side gills in red if you must. Also, get the German flag stripes for the front grill.

That's funny, that 370 has a lot of the same highlights.

Obviously, my "photoshop" skills are lacking which hurts the picture appeal. I got the inspiration from some of the stuff I was seeing on some F8X cars. Notice on this awesome green monster the exterior accent lines, although they are purely on the bolt on parts, not the body.

Your post reminded me of this former post of Bill's frozen black. His was much more understated with the red accents though...

You mean kinda like this:

I'm not a huge fan. Unless it's a race car with a huge wing and aggressive aero like the below I don't think it fits well.

THAT looks awesome, and was one of the inspirations as well.

So basically, kill the idea of accent lines on the body, focus on subtle red integrated with accessories (spoiler, lip, brakes, and inside of mirrors)

I think its kinda cool when people paint the very inside of the lower air intake holes inside the front fender. Like not the inside of the fender, but past that, where the fender meets the air intake. Sorry for the horrible description, but hopefully you know what I'm getting at.

I know exactly what you are referring to, and I also think it looks fantastic. Hmmm. Plenty of ideas on here.

LOL

Thank you for the overwhelming responses here!

After debating, I won't be painting the body at all. I will consider the CRT striping on lip spoiler or other accessory parts, but my itch is now extinguished.

MXA, I like the idea, noticed CIFUMs blue details the other day which got me going.
In your test pic maybe a tad too much red stripes, but I really like the basic idea of adding some color.

I'm seing me wrapper next week to update some clear bra, will discuss this at the same time. Easy enought to take off when you got tired...

Go for it man!
