BMW drivers gets car jacked and executed near Crevier BMW

"Later, a pickup truck taken by the carjacker began to run out of gas, so he stopped at State Route 55 and McFadden Avenue in Santa Ana, city police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said."

"He gets out of the vehicle, confronts our victim who is in his BMW, he orders him out of the vehicle, walks him to the side of the curb and executes our victim," Bertagna said."

It's crazy how often this type of stuff occurs now. I know the media is much more in tune now but I just don't remember random rampages happening so frequently like this.

Sucks, I hope it wasn't anyone on this board.

Sorry but if someone is pointing a gun at my car and I have room to get free I'm taking my chances with DS mode and WOT going straight at him.

This is one of the reasons I feel like getting concealed hand gun license. Because there are way too many morons in the world that have no value for human life.

I think that's what it ultimately is...no value for human life.

That is why they end up killing whomever and then offing themselves.

I don't see why you shouldn't. You live in Texas one of the most pro 2A state in the country. You should definitely exercise your right.

+1 just train yourself and understand that when you brandish a firearm, you have to be prepared to use it with the intention of exerting lethal force (easier said than done, i'm not so sure if I could do that right now). Saddening how many evil people there are in this world

This. Even with a conceal carry permit some situations like this you may decide to just let him have the car. You wouldn't think there was any reason for him to shoot you, he's got the car... right?

As more time passes and more jack asses like this walk the streets and perpetrate these crimes; i've become more of the opinion that if someone points a gun at you, the only choice you have is to fight back. Either with deadly force or without. Certainly when you see more and more stories like this, the argument that you were scared for your life the second you saw his gun will continue to gain strength.

I'd always said that should i be carrying and someone jacked my car, i'd let them have it. I don't want to shoot anyone, let alone kill someone over a car. But my stance on that is changing, i'm starting to believe that the moment you see a weapon in their hand is when you take action.

That's where I got our 335i. This guy murdered his wife or girlfriend only about a couple of miles away, in Ladera Ranch, from where I live.

+1 I couldn't agree more with all that was said here. I have been in a situation where I was carrying, but the situation didn't warrant pulling the gun since it could be diffused without it, thankfully.

So long as you practice, know your rights, know when you should/shouldn't pull your gun, and know that if you do pull it you will need to be able to pull that trigger you are good to go.

Another mentally unstable person with access to guns..he killed a woman in her home..2 people in car jackings and then himself.

BMWs are not central to this story.
