Widest Tires?

Does anyone know the widest tire size we can go on the OEM 19" 220's (would like to go 265 front 285 rear)? I am thinking of going with the 12 & 15mm spacers if that makes a difference. Thanks...

You can do that but the wheel width doesn't really support a wider tire. The widest I would consider is a 255 front, 275 rear. Wide tires without wider wheels doesn't yield the performance gain that you are likely looking for.

He right, my friend has 255 front and 275 rear on stock 220's and its a good fit, any bigger would be too much. If you want the 265 front and 285 rear you will need to change rims for good fitment and look

OP i did 255f/275r on the OEM 19 non zcp wheels and it looks okay but understeers like crazy... it actually ruined the car on the track in my opinion. I was on PSS.

Weird. I switched to 255/275 PSS, and the balance of the car was unchanged. Not that it matters, but my car is setup for F-stock with a larger front bar and pins out for max negative camber up front.

I wouldn't recommend going any wider than 275 in the rear and definitely no wider than 255 in the front. You shouldn't really need to go any wider

Thanks for the inputs. I actually like the look of the stock wheels, just wanted a little more rubber. Going to have the "grey" on the inside of the wheel and spokes done in black. I think it will look good with the machined front and will tie it in nicely with the MR/Black I've got going on with the car...

I am using 265/30-19 front and 275/30-19 ad08r on 220m.
I think the front tires are a bit much on a 8.5 but I get away with it because the sidewalls are very stiff on the Yoko's. If on a softer sidewall tire like PSS as3 or rs3 I'd stick with OEM sizes or no more than 10mm increase front and rear.
I autocross on these wheels and they are much faster than the PSS they replaced.

is it recommended to stick to stock tire sizes for the oem and zcp wheels? what would be the best size combo on stock suspension or a mild drop?
