Registered, and this year I'm getting garage space. Noticed the price went up compared to last year.

You'd be shocked to hear what the rental cost increased compared to last year. Price this year is $50 more than last year for the weekend. Students have option of running Friday this year, unlike last year.

Another group charged $850 for 3 days last year has increased to $1375 this year...an additional $525 or nearly 62% higher than last year. We went up less than 10%.

Another group is charging 50% more. Plus this is a WELL RUN event...which is worth something.

The "other" group is limiting it to 35 cars on track per group and 4 groups. I don't mind paying more for a more open track and no trains.

I did hide out in another friend's garage during the rain, but having my own for the wife to protect from rain or sun would be best.

Looking forward to improving from this year!

Just prefer the Porsche drivers to let go of the wheel and grab on to the roof?

There were plenty of trains in the event last year. IMO, COTA will always have trains without open passing. High HP cars pull away from T20-T1 and T2-3. Then lower HP cars will catch up by T9. Then high HP cars pull away from T10-T12. Then lower HP cars catch up until T18.

Anybody still have a link to that video? I want to show my wife that one. She hates retarded drivers on the track in front of her.

It's going to be epic, last year was a blast.

This time I hope to keep my car running all three days. I grenaded a pressure plate last time.

+1
And considering the range of driving skills in the advanced group last year I would be uncomfortable allowing open passing. Still I really had a lot of fun last year!

Unfortunately, I will miss this years event.

Ahh there it is with full suit and everything. Classic. I sure hope Pfeffer denied him access this year.

He never did spin, so maybe he's on to something. There was a longer clip that had him holding the A pillar with one hand and the roof with the other.
