noth'n official but i'm now wonder'n if these r in the works... any1 kno?

obviously only outer lights, n iono bout y'all, but i hav an imagination n these can look sweet-n-sexxxy as a whole.

reason i'm call'n 'em "whitelines" is cuz they're pretty much identical 2 the f10 oem tails

Nice find.

About 12 months ago, BMW had announced Black Lines for the LCI E92, but decided against developing them shortly before their release. From the one grainy marketing picture that fellow forum member Levi found, they looked like darker versions of our regular LCI lights -- similar to the X5 LCI taillights, which feature darker red outlines and separators than our lights do.

As the OP mentions, these are much more similar to the F10 White Lines that are offered as an accessory for the new 5-series. I wonder if BMW will start offering them on our cars.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the F10 White Lines, the 997.2 Clear Optics that Porsche offers, or these DTM White Lines. I would love to see BMW offer Black Lines for the E92 LCI, however.

I agree. This is what you used to see on Honda Civic/Acura Integras back in the day. That fad died out relatively quickly (I admit I had them when I was 17). Cops would pull you over all the time for them since they didn't reflect red. Even if these did have a red reflector on the rear/sides, you'd still probably get hassled.

For a "race car", sure they might be cool and different, like the ones shown above. But for a daily street driven car, no thanks.

Just my opinion.
