Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS)

Hi guys I'm thinking about getting some new wheels for Christmas as was just wondering if anyone knows if TPMS is required when we buy the wheels.
Thanks

No, for Australian and European cars, the TPMS is part of the ABS and no need. The NA system is different and requires TPMS to be installed in the valve stem. One less expense.
