Fill in front bumper orange reflector?
Hi All,
Has anyone used a reputable bmw body shop to fill in the orange reflector, instead of buying the color match reflector? I know you can buy the Euro bumper without the orange reflector, but would it be cheaper to have a body shop fill it in and color match it that way? Any thoughts or feedback? Thanks in advanced. |

I had it filled, they did a terrific job, but like all filling jobs, you'll eventually begin to see the outline where the fill was done. Mine showed from odd angles in a fairly specific light 2 years after it was filled. It wasn't really noticeable, but I wonder how it'd hold up 5 or 6 years down the line.

Perfect Color in Anaheim, California. They charged me like 400 for fill and paint I think? I forget, it's been a while. I used to be a frequent customer, they do good work. It wasn't really worth it though, I'd rather just get painted reflectors for like 100 or 150 or whatever it is that they cost. In fact, that's what I'm currently running. Reflectors are easy to install and remove, I posted a DIY in a thread somewhere.
