I get that. I just don't want to be surprised when I see the cost after commiting to the group buy. It seems all these other guys have committed with or without knowing this mystery price. I just don't understand.

My Name is Btec and I am new to this forum, Also want to say Hi to everyone also. Anyway do you have any dyno charts on a DD dyno of your tune? What are the gains on 91 and 93 octane ? Is the tune/gains same on 91 and 93 octane, also my car is 2008 does your tool automatically update my sw? Also has the group buy ended? sorry for the many questions -thanks |

Dont post much on this forum as you can tell but had to give some feedback re my BPM experience
I very seldom get the opportunity to see the needle hit 8000 on my commute in Central London and was really hankering after more driveability. Issue is that I’m a stickler for stock and have no wish to jeopardise my warranty or safety parameters built in by BMW Cue a few months later, I pulled the trigger on thier stage 1 tune. I was talking to Mike over the phone long distance and it took about 3 mins to confirm what I had read elsewhere here. Mike really really knows his stuff and his passion for all things S65 really shows through. The tune itself? Let’s just say, after a few minutes of driving in heavy traffic, I was shaking my head in disbelief. Bewildered that there could be such a difference in the driveability at the lower end of the rev counter which let’s face it; most of us have to contend with. Never drove anywhere without sport mode engaged before as it was too sluggish. Bear in mind I was on 231 and 240 updates pretty much as it was released. No waiting, no adaptation, just worked straight out of the box. I never had so much fun driving the car slowly! Top end, there is an appreciable amount of power you can feel in line with those who have had the tune measured on a dyno. The best compliment I can give BPM, is that I feel it should be standard fitment on our vehicles. Mike and the guys at BPM, looking foward to the dct tune! |
