We have not released pricing yet for the DCT tuning. I can PM you the current cost of the Stage 1 tune if you like. Keep in mind that it will be the regular price since there is not current GB established.

There is no group buy.

Pricing has and always will be $999 for the cable and tune. If we have more people sign up, we will consider offering a 5-10% discount. This is not definite as we have less than 40 cables in stock.

There is no mystery price. We will offer incentives for DCT flashing for those that are on the list. We're not trying to surprise you and lock you into something.

So as an example... The DCT software retail pricing will likely be $899. Those that are on the list will get it for 30-40% off (pricing has not been finalized as we need to factor cable cost into it). So the retail pricing on DCT and Engine software will be around the $1900 mark, and the special introductory pricing for those on the list will be $1500 ish. There is no benefit to waiting for the DCT pricing to be released, because as I said, we will honor the difference from the package price. We will also offer current customers with the cable a sizable discount as well. I hope this clears up some confusion.

Since you are in SC, you should take a ride in the president of the CCA chapter's car in your area, Dwayne M. Very cool guy and he has our Stage I software and coding. Also if in Raleigh NC, you should talk to Dan at bimmerperformancecenter.com, we've done quite a bit of tuning and coding for them.

If you are going to buy something made of gold, and you know how much it is per gram, but you don't quite know the weight of the item, does it really matter what the weight is if you know you want the item? It's still gold.

Moral of the story: BPM's tune == gold.

Dont post much on this forum as you can tell but had to give some feedback re my BPM experience

I very seldom get the opportunity to see the needle hit 8000 on my commute in Central London and was really hankering after more driveability.
Issue is that I’m a stickler for stock and have no wish to jeopardise my warranty or safety parameters built in by BMW

Cue a few months later, I pulled the trigger on thier stage 1 tune. I was talking to Mike over the phone long distance and it took about 3 mins to confirm what I had read elsewhere here.
Mike really really knows his stuff and his passion for all things S65 really shows through.

The tune itself?

Let’s just say, after a few minutes of driving in heavy traffic, I was shaking my head in disbelief.
Bewildered that there could be such a difference in the driveability at the lower end of the rev counter which let’s face it; most of us have to contend with. Never drove anywhere without sport mode engaged before as it was too sluggish.
Bear in mind I was on 231 and 240 updates pretty much as it was released.
No waiting, no adaptation, just worked straight out of the box.

I never had so much fun driving the car slowly!
Top end, there is an appreciable amount of power you can feel in line with those who have had the tune measured on a dyno.
The best compliment I can give BPM, is that I feel it should be standard fitment on our vehicles.
