1200 miles service
Dropped off my car for 1200 service today at Hassel BMW around 11am. Didn't leave till about 12:30 with my loaner. 1 hr and a half just to drop off my car.
Asked the SA to confirm the engine oil, diff oil, trans oil will all be done. The guy Ron wasn't even sure. Had to go check and tells me it should be done. I say make sure it is bc it's suppose to be! He says its up to the shop?! Even thought the sheet he printed out clearly says it. WTF. I spoke to 3 dealerships to make my service appt and non of them even know about the 1200mile service for M cars. Ok fine the girl making appointments don't know but the SA? C'mon BMW this dude is old too not like his first day in the job. Now the Loaner. At first they said not available even though I scheduled my appt with a loaner and I complained so apparently some loaner came back. So I get one. What's the point of scheduling appts with loaners if you just gonna tell customers when they get here sorry we are out of loaners?? At 5pm call to check status, they tell me car has to stay overnight bc apparently they don't have my transmission oil in stock?! Wtf kinda BMW crap is this. Something suppose to take couple hours now my car needs to stay overnight. I came from and Mitsubishi Evo and I thought they have bad service. Apparently I was expecting too much from BMW. Conclusion all dealerships stealerships are scum bags. P.S over heard another SA on the phone charge some guy $250 dollars to install pedals bc they need to drill the pedals. LOL they guy agreed to it. And we wonder why they rip ppl off bc ppl welcome it. End rant |

Just had my 1200mile done at rallye this past friday...It went well! They knew about the manual transmission fluid change etc... I stayed and waited for my car, they also instantly knew no wash, given the car looked perfect! I will highly recommend rallye service to anyone in tri-state. I went there because of various recommendations from other M3 post members. I used to service my first M3 at hassel in the late 90's...Never again.

I forgot the original topic and can't stop laughing at those dancers.

I could swear one of the dancers is Tom Cruise.

People are people and just because its a bimmer it doesn't mean everything is perfect. I apologize for the terrible experience, continue searching for dealer and advisor you trust... My bimmer only goes to one dealer and one advisor when it needs attention..

Yea nobody's perfect. After years of bad or non existent service I guess I hoping for just a little bit more at BMW. Maybe Ill give Rallye a try but they got alot of bad Yelp reviews and the girl on the phone there was really impatient and rude. Remember who your SA was?
