100k miles what work to do?

So I'm at 80k. 2011.75. Mostly long freeway driving but mix of hard driving. Wondering in a year or so as I approach 100k, what preventative stuff would you replace?

Already done over last 30k
motor mounts
-ac evap and compressor
radiator, coolant flush
-dcg oil cooler
dct pan and gaskets
valve cover gaskets (45k ago)
dct fluid
front brakes and rotors
plugs and oil regularly
-accesssory belt

The ones I'm considering are
bearings
water pump
-thermostat
-hoses


Shocks and suspension is hardly used as its all freeway cruising.

Anything else I'm missing?

I look for loose fasteners, particularly plastic one's. I just go around and tighten things on the body. I'm not talking about nuts and bolts that require specific torque settings. If those are loose you'll know.

Lube your sunroof mechanism, treat your rubber.......

It looks like you've got everything pretty much covered. But yeah, definitely check the rubber window and door trim.

No sunroof thank god. More to go wrong

I have OEM warranty to 100k so not going to replace anything until 100k. Kinda hoping engine explodes at 95k so I get new motor! On other hand 80k and no engine issues at all so perhaps a keeper. Doesn't burn drop of oil. Seems solid given I've redlined it thousands of times!

A 2011.75 with 80K miles?!?! I just hit 29K!

Anyway, I don't see power steering fluid, diff fluid, or an air filter on the planned maintenance or what was done in the last 30K, so I'd add those. Also have the battery checked just in case, but only replace if needed.

Water pump, thermostat, and O2 sensor I was planning to do at 120K, and hoses around 150K, based partly on Mike Miller's Old School BMW Maintenance Schedule and reading posts around here. But doing those at 100K doesn't seem ridiculously early.

I'm at 98K miles 09 M3 DCT 2nd owner. Done the following:

-Motor Flush
-oil change
-power steering fluid change
-brake fluid flush
-Rear differential fluid change
-DCT fluid change (2 separate 5L fluid exchanges)
-air filter--> K&N
-Cabin air filter
-wiper blades
-Spark Plugs
-fuel system cleaner
-water wetter
-Front Upper & Lower control arms
-Tie rod ends Left&right
-4 wheel Alignment

Slowly starting to get parts for the following future projects
-2nd motor flush
-Brake pads, Rotors & sensors
-Rear wheel bearings
-Front wheel hub
-motor mounts
-trans mounts
-sway bar endlinks
-rear control arms/toe arms
-serpentine belt, idler pulley & Tensioner
-water pump
-thermostat
-coolant flush
-Valve Cover gaskets
-Battery change and registration

I would suggest going ahead and doing the waterpump and thermostat and hoses. Those are always a weak point on BMW's, and majorly bad if they fail. Otherwise just pay attention to the bushings, those fail too and cause slop.

I inherited my 2011.5 and it only has 16k on it...folks had too many competing interests hence why I have it now. Looks like I have some catching up to do.

I cant believe the e9xs are already "the older model" of the m3 and the high mileage flyers are coming... lol I got mine back in 2009... and it still feels brand new to me. I got 42k miles on mine.

I had a clunk on acceleration and on inspection found one was leaking. Yes they fluid filled!

Wow , good to be on top of things but I did not see changing rod bearings the most important wear item

I don't understand why people just change a bunch of things arbitrarily. There is a service schedule in the owner's manual...why replace stuff that clearly doesn't need replacing?

I don't think you have much experience owning high mileage vehicles. Ever been in high mileage vehicle that had any of the following happen?

-Failed motor mounts on the free way
-broken serpentine belt
-Failed water pump
-dead battery on a sub zero degree day (Voltage, and CCA tested fine 3 months before)
-dead starter
-electric steering wheel lock motor failure
-Trans failure
-control arm failure
-Tire rod freeze up during an alignment

All of the above off the top of my head have happened to me in previously owned high mileage cars. NOT FUN. After that, you will get the logic of ditching Key components after 75K miles.
