Went to dealer for software update.
Not sure what i had or what i have now. I was reading that the factory update is one of the better upgrades as far as reliable power.
This is what the paper from the dealership reads ISTA/P Version: 48.1.002 Integration level (plant): E89X-08-03-520 Integration level (old) E89x-11-03-511 Integration level (new) E89X-12-07-508 Any able to shed some light on all this? Thanks!

I *think* it means your car left the plant with March '08 software (100E I think), when you brought it in it had software from March '11 (DCT update maybe), and when it left, it had software from July '12 (240E). Had you not had the middle update you would have likely noticed a significant difference. I dunno how in tune with your car you are, but you might notice some very slight differences.
